Hello everyone,
This is my first post here, and yes I am new here. ^_^ I was wondering if in Gambit there's an option to draw edges (lines) at angles as opposed to first plotting a vertex appropriately positioned in order to obtain the required angle. It just seems very cumbersome to have to work out each and every vertex by hand before plotting them. Thank you, Mohan |

I assume you were talking about the inclined channel (2 parallel lines with alpha angle).
*create a vertex at (0;0) *create a second vertex (0;10) *create edge from the 2 vertices *copy the edge by enabling rotation, and choose your alpha angle (your rotation axis is z) Now you have your inclined edge, you just need to place it at it right place : use aligne tool, select your edge, select the 2 vertices for the translation (start/End at translation vertex pair). The first vertex belongs to your edge, the second is the location where the first selected edge is supposed to be. http://my.fit.edu/itresources/manual...mg0203.htm#215
