Hello Everyone,
I am planning to work on CFD simulation for Quadrotors. Initial goals would be to estimate lift characteristics for various RPMs. Although I haven't worked on propeller dynamics before (mostly fixed body, aerofoils and other internal, external flow scenarios). I am aware of few strategies such as MRFs and giving certain RPM to to propellers in input conditions. Initially considering to simulate single propeller performance mounted on fixed arm and then expanding to full quadrotor simulation. Currently planning to use ICEM and Fluent. Is Fluent good for high RPM moving bodies, MRFs ? I wanted to see if anyone has any thoughts, more suggestions regarding the overall approach, tools any tutorials. Thanks a lot !!! |
