I'm modeling a shear-tension two-sided edge-influenced shear stud connection in reinforced concrete (longitudinal and stirrup reinforcement) and would like to determine the crack pattern in the concrete. I have done it so far with the user-defined result "EPTO" (total tensile strain), but the crack pattern shows the concrete edge break a bit too small. Is it allowed to show the crack pattern also with the result "Maximum principal stress"? For this purpose, I have set the limits -25 and +2.2 MPa for a C20/25 concrete. The crack pattern is more in line with the Eurocode 2-4.
