Could some one please let me know in which cases a temperature damping factor is used in CFX

If you don't know what it is for then leave it at the default
The documentation will probably recommend using it for some models - I suspect combustion modelling may be helped by it, and possibly some others (but that is just a guess, you should check for yourself). |
