sliding mesh or general moving mesh approach?

Hi,
Is it possible to simulate a rotor-stator problem using the general moving mesh? I mean to define a subdomain and give a rotational speed to it. if yes, then what is the difference of this method with transient rotor-stator (sliding mesh) approach? |
