Hi all,
I want to monitor a variable (pressure) and see its evolution over the time at mulitple planes. As per my understanding, I can easily create point monitors in CFX-pre and use existing surfaces from mesh to monitor the variables. I was wondering if there is any other way to monitor the variables in the solver manager over a plane which doesn't exist in mesh or somehow get a time history of the variable in the CFD post. I am trying to avoid the use of mesh as three section monitors each on inlet and outlet will increase the computational cost associated with additional 6 interfaces. The intent of the problem is to capture the in-duct pressure fluctuation over a period of time. I've attached the schematic in the picture. Any pointers would be really helpful. Thank you, Sid |
