Hello, I would like to know if my y+ value is 5.2 for exemple, does CFX do an integration to wall approach (flow resolved until sublayer) ? Because in theory guide, CFX suggests a near wall grid resolution of at least y+<2 but in an old post on this forum, I found that the limits for automatic wall treatment (that used with k-w SST models) are:
Y < 6 : integration to wall approach Y+ 6-30 : blending of both approaches Y+ > 30 : standard wall function Thank you for your help |

I would trust the cfx documentation over a forum post. Go with what the documentation says.
