Dear Sirs!

I have a problem with export of particle tracking data. All the information you can see on screen attached. Below a description of the problem

I perform a steady state simulation (2 stator domains and 1 rotating domain (Interface model is Frozen Rotor)) with 2 solid particles injected from the inlet boundary condition. The problem occurs after export of a file with some PT parameters. You can see a part of the file with PT traveling distance as a function of Z coordinate (see screen).

As soon one particle interserts border between two domains (z coordinate equals to 92.6 mm), CFX sets to zero the values and retursns to inlet section (z coordinate equals to 0 mm) for writing parameters for the second particle.

All I want is writing all the parameters for one particle through the domains from inlet to outlet in one column.

There is an option to choose particle using Track Selection option (see screen).

Is there an opportunity to create a script file that writes down information about chosen particle (via Track Selection option), then switches and writes down information about next particle and so on?

Big Thanks for all the advices and information!

Can't you just show a single particle track and export that data, then change to the other particle and export that one? You can automate this with a session file.

The discontinuity is a FAQ: https://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Ansy...f_reference.3F

Dear Glenn!

Thanks for setting the right direction to move in solution of this problem

I'll use some Perl magic (never used it before) to automate export with a session file and be back as soon as get some results

There are no problem with streamlines (FAQ is the first thing I studied before describe a problem). There is a problem with tear and fracture of particle tracking as it crosses the border between domains
