Hello,
I am using Immersed solid method in CFX to simulate a fish. I wanted to know which method is actually used by CFX as immersed boundary method. Discrete forcing or continuous forcing approach? Best regards Shyam Prithvi Tanuku |

After looking up wikipedia to work out what discrete forcing and continuous forcing means (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immersed_boundary_method) I think you will find CFX uses the continuous forcing approach as the interaction is applied as a source term, which means it is applied to the fundamental equations. Hopefully I have understood the distinction correctly.
