HW1 is on a distinguished road
Hello I am working on photocatalysis and would like to model the light intensity(W/m2) that is received by a photocatalytic media by a UV-C lamp using Monte Carlo in CFX. So my reactor is made up of stainless steel and my lamp is made up of Quartz and has an Irradiation intensity of 530 W/m2. The photocatalytic media is 2 cm from the lamp and is made up of SiO2.

I am very new to ANSYS and also to Radiation Heat Transfer and so I am finding it extremly difficult to input the appropraite boundary conditions that will properly describe my lamp as the emission source.

I would be very very very grateful for some help.

I remain at your disposal if you need more information.

Best regards,
Hetty.
