Hi,

I am currently validating a pump with the following parameters:
1. rpm: 1450
2. Q=50 m3/h
3. Density= 1000 kg/m3
4. Head rise= 14 m
5. Exit blade angle= 27.5 degrees

I have used CPD and Bladegen then Turbomachinery to carry out the meshing. However, when carrying out the procedure on CFX Pre, I am not able to get the HUB OUTBLOCK nor the HUB Downstream when setting out the boundary conditions.

Could there be something wrong with my CPD design?

I have no idea what CPD is. Please explain any unusual acronyms you use.

Also: If this question is important then contact ANSYS support and sort it out with them. That is why you pay them. If you don't pay for support and the forum is your only option then clearly your question is not important. Nobody is paid on the forum and we answer questions only if we want to.

Your question sounds like a problem with geometry or mesh generation but without looking at your model it is impossible to tell.

Hi, thank you for your assistance. I have successfully validated the results after spotting a few mistakes in my boundary conditions.
