Dear friends, I am a new user of CFX 5.6. I am in need of your help. My problem is that I want to add/use a new fluid. the fluid is Calcium Chloride solution( solid Calcium chloride + water).
we only have water in CFX materials The properties of Calcium Chloride solution depends on its concentration (the percentage of solid Calcium chloride disolived in water) and the temperature of solution How can I greate that fluid? Thanks |

Neser,
If you click on the material selector in CFX-Pre, you will see many materials available (don't know if Calcium chloride is one of them). If the CaCl concentration is constant, you can create a solution material (click the Create New icon) with the properties of your solution. If the CaCl concentration is changing.... 1. Create an CaCl material w/ aqueous properties 2. Create a solution material w/ components of water and CaCl. Mixture rules will apply. Jeff |
