Gambit to CFX

Hi,
I would like to export the mesh generated by Gambit (in an Ansys solver) to CFX, but it gives error message when i try it. Did anybody have an Idea about it, if please kindly send me Your comments. |

How about you export it to Ansys or CGNS, I think then CFX should read it.

Thankyou very much. But we dont have license for Ansys, we are waiting for that. But also trying to explore other possibilities.

Hi,
# Am not sure which version of Gambit you are using? # You can go to T-Grid and export the mesh in Neutral format. (extension *.out) # There was a bug in the old version (still probably there in the latest release). Due to this you cannot export the mesh directly from gambit in neutral form and hope to import the same in CFX. # Exporting mesh in neutral form from T-grid and importing this in CFX would do your job |
