Hi,
I just started to use user subroutine in CFX 5.7.1. For the time being, I tried to test to see how to compile the *.F files. I copied some sample fortran files to the working directory. But when I tried: ! system ("cfx5mkext PipeValve_inlet.F") == 0 or die; It respond : ERROR CCL parser failed with message: Perl Syntax errors detected: Died at (eval 15) line 2. I then tried to use OS command, cfx5mkext can not even be recognised by windows! It still did not work after I copied cfx5mkext.ccl to the working directory! I am using compaq vision fortran 6. Thanks for your help. Jamie |

Jamie,
Make sure you're running from a command window spawned from the CFX-5 launcher (under Tools | Command Window). This sets a large number of environment variables and paths necessary for cfx5mkext to work. Jeff |

Thanks Jeff.
you are right! I did not know I should run the command window from CFX in the beginning. So I mannually modified the Path to include all the librairis and directories in CFX. It is working now. Cheers Jamie |
