Hallo Is there an option in CFX 11 post to visualize and extract vorticity in the flow field?

Thks,I have seen it.
But is it not possible from CFX-post? I define the vorticity(only 1 component for 2d flow) For the transient simulation ,at all time steps this value is the same.Is this possible,or simply I cannot create such expressions in CFX post for transient case? Rgrds, Selim |

Vorticity is not written to the .res file by default. You need to enable it, you need to include the following CCL:
LIBRARY: VARIABLE: vorticity Output to Postprocessor = Yes END END You could run your current .res file for one iteration with this CCL to generate the vorticiy. |
