Question Can we use mixing plane approach for axial wind turbine

Is mixing plane approach good for validation of axial wind turbine. Is it even possible to use this approach?
If yes, how to set up the domain interface for mixing plane at interface of static and rotating domain of axial wind turbine in cfx.
