Hello enginners,
does anybody have experiences with air gaps modeling in CFX??? If you have any experiences or some link please let me know. I would be very grateful. Thanks a lot and good luck with solving your problems. |

I have done modelling of air gaps. CFX does it just fine. Got to be careful about round off errors if the geometry has large changes in size but double precision numerics takes care of that. Also be careful about the choice of laminar of turbulent - the Reynolds numbers of air gaps can be quite small so the flow may well be laminar.
