Dear all,
I use the eulerian-eulerian two phase model and treat both the water and air phase as continuous phase in my simulation, then I want to use the following drag correlation. Now I don't know how can I realize it.I want to use CEL but i can't find where to define the VS(superficial gas velocity).thanks a lot! CD=(3(ρL-ρG)/4ρL)gdG(rG/VS)2 Last edited by rainning139; August 15, 2011 at 09:37. |

hi rainining.
define a new expression then make a right click and in the part of "variables" in the menu of "specific heat capacity at constant volume" you can find "superficial velocity" . is it what you want? i hope i could help you. |

Thanks for your answer, I have found the superficial velocity(X,Y,Z) according to your answer, but I have no idea about which phase the superficial velocity stands for, GAS or LIQUID ,because I use the multiphase model.HOPE FOR YOUR ANSWER ,thanks.
