Hi all,
I want to add user custom variables in post.in. The udf manual shows that I can use the global variable such as global_user1 for this purpose. However, I can't find this variable in common_shared.h. Which variable should I use to add the user-defined post variable? Thanks for your time. Yunde |

Hello Su,
To use custom global user variables, specify them as non-transport passives (user1,user2,..) in species.in. These can then be used in user_post.c and have the required user-specified values stored in them. Do remember to turn them on in post.in to have them present in your post*.out files. A example and procedure is provided in our v2.4 UDF manual. If you face any issues, or would like to have a sample case employing the udf, please feel free to contact support@convergecfd.com. Please use your official email for all correspondence with Convergent Science. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Srivastava |
