Pramod B is on a distinguished road
Hi,
I am trying to simulate SI engine at part load condition. I am using full-cyle geometry and all the boundary conditions as derived from experiments. The following pictures show the comparison between simulation and experimental data for two cycles of simulation. For these simulations, the embedding size around spark location is 5mm and 7mm with embedding scales of 5 and 4.

Another simulation is performed with embedding size of 1mm and 3mm as in the example cases around the spark location with same embedding scales and the simulation gives different results this time. The comparison with experimental is shown in 1st figure.

There is is a significant variation in HRR too for different cases and the trend does not match with experimental(Picture here shows the trend). The HRR curves for different cases are shown here.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to solve this problem and help me understand things better.

Thanks in advance
