I am trying to understand the trapped air mass over a intake and compression stroke in an IC Engine. I cant figure out a way to do so. Can anyone please guide me how to do so?

I am trying to understand what you mean.
However, you could look at: a) regions_flow.out -> Tot_Mass from Intake to Cylinder Region b) passive.out -> Use passives called "Intake" or "Air" at initialization in the Intake region and look for the amount of Air in cylinder after gas exchange |

Thanks for the response. I was also able to capture the total air mass using thermo.region.out. and species_region.out as well.
