I am using converge CFD software for two-stroke engine compression ignition simulation, but for some reason my model will calculate very fast at the TDC, and the fuel will never be compression ignited. The model was originally ignited, but I made the cylinder head section smaller to increase the compression ratio and removed the nozzles and spark plugs, is this the cause?

Is it possible that the simulation didn't reach the temperature necessary to kick on combustion? Please check the maximum temperature reached in the thermo.out (or thermo_region*.out) file and see what temperatures are reached in the combustion vessel.
