Hi,
I am running the Spray A VOF transient RANS example case and I want to output the droplets volume, speed and distribution. Is it possible to output this? How can I do it? Thank you, Renan L. |

Good question! Typically, the outputs you're looking for are generated when using the discrete phase or Lagrangian approach to spray modeling rather than the VOF modeling which you're trying to do. What I would recommend is you use this VOF simulation to map the input for a spray simulation which would help you generate the outputs of the kind you're looking for. The 'ECN Spray G VOF transient RANS' and 'ECN Spray G one way coupling transient RANS' are example cases available in studio that are examples of this one way coupling approach. Another great resource is our advanced lecture on Spray modeling available on the hub. Hope that helps! |
