Hello,
I am facing a problem where I am simulating a closed-cycle simulation of a diesel engine. The IVC and BC conditions come from Exp and are correct. Even the injection strategy is correct(shown in graphs). I am using Converge provided mechanism. using Diesel2 as a parcel and evaporating it into Heptnae. It turns out upon analyzing the spray penetration is too long (it reaches the end of bowl at 32mm which is almost the bowl radius), so i thought initiailly this is casuing the pilot to not burn so effectively. You can see the HRR graph. So after that i have tried multiple adjustements strategies mainly reducing KH and RT constants but to no avail. I cannot seem to decrease the spray penentration. Other issue might be the evaopration isnt fast enough. Can any one give suggetsions about it..I am using 8 hole nozzle with around 70000 parcel/nozzle so i guess they are enough for a mass of 36mg. further my base mesh is 1mm with fixed embeddig along injector reaching at 0.25mm alongwith AMR which is working (i cheked by visualization). Injection pressure is also reched that is 1200 bars. I attach all the graphs..The pressure rise after SOI isnt as sharp as in experiemnts,

Update:
The problem was solved by increasing the IVC temperature. Turns out the EXP IVC temperature measured was too low which I suspected. however, spray penetration wasn't affected.
