Dear Converge engineers,

I have encountered a wield error when running a VOF simulation. I have encountered it serval times, it occurs in the middle of my simulation out of nowhere, and my license is working fine.

The errors are shown in the attachment, previously when I encountered the first error, all I did was restart, but this time when I restarted the second error showed up so I had to rerun the simulation from the beginning.

Please tell me what is causing this from happening or what I could do to prevent it from happening agian.

Hi Zhe,

Can you attach the log file of the first and second run? The text is blurry so I can't make out what the error says.

I checked your setup. There's a boundary (7) that does not have any associated triangles. Please delete that boundary.

Also, can you explain what you want to do with the segments you have in the domain below the injector? Do you need all 20 segments as separate regions?

Thank you for the reply! but Boundary 7 shouldn't effect the result as Boundary 7 is an empty boundary, would an empty boundary lead to such a consequence?

For your question, I am not sure how much I can explain in detail as it is related to the research work I am working on. I need the segments to get data for further processing.

Hi Zhe,

The boundary 7 being empty shouldn't affect results, but for best practice, we delete empty boundaries.
