Fatal_error: [2045]

I’m simulating the spray and combustion in a constant volume chamber with CONVERGE 3.0. The error message is "FATAL_ERROR: [2045] dt is already at a minimum, the simulation cannot continue". How can I fix it?

Hi Raccoon1995,

Check your initialization or boundary conditions, since your case is going into recoveries from start of the simulation. its clearly a case setup issue. You can use the example case: Fuel injectors and sprays>Spray studies>ECN Spray A Lagrangian transient RANS as reference to provide the boundary conditions and initialization.

I also noticed you provided much higher grid refinement to start with, its reaching 6e6 cells at t=0, and your max AMR cells is 6e6. So the AMR will not add any cells. You can use a larger Base grid like 8mm or 16mm, and use finer embedding for spray, this will keep the cell count low.
