jk75 is on a distinguished road
Hi everybody,

does anybody have experience with the solidification model (the RSS, for a start) in Flow3D?
Especially I'd like to know how the solidifictaion - and thus the shrinkage - is actually calculated. The manual only states that 'at each step a specific volume is subtracted from the top of each region'. Is there a little bit more information about that model to be found somewhere?
Also I'm not sure how (if at all) this model can be adapted by the user through settings or parameters. Is it possible to adapt the model to a specific geometry, for example?

Thanks in advance and best regards,
Johannes
