Hi,

Note: I am a beginner in FLUENT. Still trying to find my way around.

Aim
I am trying to simulate aggregation and breakage using DQMOM in ANSYS FLUENT 17.2.

What has been done so far
- I have built the mesh
- Set up a case
- I have tried initializing the the bed height by doing a region adaption and then marking the required cells to create an adaption register.
- And then i patched the volume fractions and DQMOM-M4 values to the created adaption register.
- I also used the 'fill' mark actions under manage register adaptions.

Challenge
This has not yet worked as the contour diagrams for volume fraction and diameter gives the right values but do not show the interface to mark the bed height (see pic attachment).

Do I need to use a UDF for this?

particle diameters for the 3 phases = 174 , 263 and 409 microns
volume fractions for the 3 phases = 0.196, 0.229 and 0.205

Please help.

I need to be able to initialize the problem correctly before i can even think of performing an aggregation/breakage simulation.

Thanks in advance.
