Hi everyone. I'm working on a multiphase problem where I'm obtaining a converged solution (monitored variable). I have two questions.

1. Can the variable chosen to monitor convergence be volume averaged entity ( volume average energy dissipation rate) or a variable at a point (velocity at a point).

2. Though I'm getting a converged solution, the solution is not grid independent. i have three grids to compare the solution. (Fine, Medium and coarse). The error in solution between the fine and medium mesh is more than that of the medium and coarse grid. can anyone help out and let me know what can be the possible reason?
