Dear Friends,

I am using HP Z8G4 workstation for VOF multiphase simulation in Fluent.

When I submitted my Job 1 the CPU maximum utilization was 45 % and 30% RAM was used. Job 1 had around 6 million quad cells. I have used 16 processors and 1 GPU for computation.

After submitting the second job (4.5 million cells) and running job 1 and job 2 simultaneously the CPU maximum utilization was 75 % and 31% RAM was used. I have used 10 processors for the computation of job 2.

I want to know why RAM has just increased by 1 % and CPU by 30% after adding job 2.

I want to use RAM and CPU both in full capacity for my VOF simulations for full utilization of workstation capacity. How to do it.

For my workstation, I have 48 logical processors and I am currently using 192 RAM. I can increase the RAM capacity up to 2TB. Please let me know if is it advisable to increase the RAM capacity to accelerate the simulation and also put more VOF simulation jobs on my workstation.
