choose proper turbulence model -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Lilly Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2011 Posts: 140 Rep Power: 15	Dear all, I am new with turbulence models and want to simulate an airflow inside a straight tube. The velocity of the airflow shall vary sinusoidal. I was a bit confused which is the best turbulence model to choose in this case. Can somebody recommend a modell for this problem or literature where I can find the best fitting model? Thanks a million for all your help! Lilly
