hi
I m trying to simulate Flow through porous media and I'd enter the permeability parameter from a tensor. But I do not know how? (How to enter permeability tensor(Kxx Kyy Kzz) parameter in fluent(porous domaine) ?) (for Simulation of Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding process) |

Hi
You can use the options defined in Fluent itself or you can write your own UDF by using appropriate macro. For instance, when you define a UDS, then you'll be directed to material panel where you can use the default options to adjust diffusivity for UDS, in which tensors are also involved or you can write an UDF in complicated case, for instance, an anisotropic diffusivity which depends on a parameter.
