hi
does anyone know how to check coordinate of a vertex in fluent? I tried to get it by selecting the vertex point by mouse but no information about coordinate is displayed. |

Hi newbie,
I think there is no way to find the exact coordinates of a given vertex. The closest way I found is to select the point with mouse after zooming on the point (see section 30.4 of Fluent User's Guide version 14.5), but you will never get the exact coordinates... That's the kind of basic stuff that is sooooo missing in Fluent compared to, say, Comsol. Frank |

Hi
Thanks for your advice. You are right that Fluent is not very flexible in this matter. I have one more question. .cas file stores information of mesh as well as FLUENT setup. Is it possible to export only mesh file by using FLUENT? |
