hi,

guys can u tell me how to match laminar flat plate boundary layer flow velocity profile with that of blasius solution. i tried different boundary conditions for the top edge and with different meshes but still always at some points velocity is more than the free stream velocity.

boundary conditions:

left:velocity inlet
bottom:wall
right: pressure outlet

for the top i have used pressure outlet, outflow, symmetry etc.

i have done the meshing as given in many online tutorials, still can't get it to match with blasius.

even in the cornell fluent tutorial there solution also does not match with blasius.

guys i am stuck at it for long now.

plzz help.
