sachinip is on a distinguished road
hello, i am simulating the flo inside a diverging converging nozzle where in the middle there is the tube where the filter is located.

I simulate the inlet as mass flow inlet, the outlet as outflow(i dont have any information about the pressure in the outlet) and the filter as porous jump.

I have reached a convergence and mesh idepedence, using k-epsilon enhanced wall treatment model.

seeing the results i see that before the filter the velocity is higher in the middle(as it supposed to be), but after the filter the velocity is higher close to the wall.

Do you have any suggestion on that or relevant bibliography?

I would also like to ask you if there is a way to validate my results without having the experimental data for the velocity profile.

Thank you very much for any comment.
