hello here
i am new here and new to program. I have to simulate a frisbee in fluent. I have a disc in a box. velocity inlet and pressure outlet. how can i change the other walls to periodic boundary conditions? I have to rotate the disc and see the changes of point of pressure depending of angle of attack. And if my walls are walls by boundary condition, the air with an angle doesnt go to my frisbee, it goes to the wall and flows there. By the way how can i make the disc rotate in fluent? I ask it here because my professor in CFD is ill and i cant ask him. Thank you in advance. |

To make a periodic boundary condition use:
define/boundary-conditions/modify/make-periodic To rotate the frisbee, make the wall a moving wall in the boundary conditions. |

thank u very much!!! i solved the problem by using a rotational sphere, my inlet is now always 90 īdegrees. but due to rotational spehere around my object, i can simulate different angles of attack without periodic boundary conditions
