Default Mapped face meshing confliction with inflation on multizone

Hi forum, is it not possible to increase number of divisions with mapped face meshing when using inflation on a multizone hex mesh ?

I am meshing a pipe, and mapped meshing only works when inflation is not used, is it meant to be like this?
