Dear all,
I simulate natural convection in an open system and described in the picture. The result that I got seems to not be correct since from experiment there should be air flow from the inlet and discharge at the outlet as buoyancy force strongly occurs. I also attached the result of the velocity field. I would like to ask for your opinion whether something wrong with my model? Thank you. Last edited by hond02pvu; December 19, 2018 at 14:22. |

You set a velocity inlet with 0 m/s so air cannot flow in......

I have changed the inlet-velocity to inlet-pressure. As a result, I've got the flow in and out. A new problem has come up the highest temperature on the heated wall is around 900K which is still much higher than expected ( heat flux 2000W/m^2). What do you think? Thank you!
