I would appreciate if anyone could advise me the type of solver to use in the fluent to simulate the following conditions:

An well regulated HVAC system operating in the populated working office desk room. I am interested in the air flow distribution as well as the thermal load generated by each human in order to determine the human thermal comfort. What type of solver should I use and how do I activate and simulate the buoyancy effect of the air. Air Velocity is about 0.2 - 2 m/s.

Thank You

Not enough info to say... All of the solvers will work. But I would recommend to start with steady, pressure-based until you find out otherwise.

Enable gravity and make sure you select something for the equation of state for density that's not constant.

My recommendation is you pick. =)

Seriously, all of them work (except constant). It's just a matter of how you like to model your problem.

Material properties --> density -->
* ideal gas
* incompressible ideal gas
* ...
* and not constant value
