hi
i did conjugate analysis using ansys fluent for a regenerative heat exchanger which has geometry of solid box outside and a coolant passage inside.

i want to extract temperatures in the fluid domain alone at different cross sections along the flow directions. for this i need planes at all cross sections of the fluid domain where i want to find the temperatures. when i made planes in fluent itself iam getting solid part also.
how to make planes for fluid part alone for the following geometry.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

in image red color is flow passage and outside blue are bounding walls. material will be there in the gaps of the s- shaped bends also. this is what causing me the problem
