Greetings,

In my project, I have created geometry in NX and exported it as parasolid to Ansys Designmodeler.
I have named selected faces and generated mesh.
While generating mesh I deleted connections that were automaticaly created (because I want to set monitors on interfaces).
Than I have saved mesh for Fluent.
After importing mesh scaling, checking and improving quality I tried to create interfaces manually but after selecting interface bondary from one zone and another it creates non-overlaping interfaces with WALL type preventing from fluid to flow from one zone to another.
Each zone interfaces are perfectly alligned and I think it is almost impossible that they are not overlaping.
Maybe problem is because of exporting geometry as parasolid? Im wondering if there is any solution of this problem.

Fluent 2019 R1 will read in legacy mesh interfaces fine. But it does not properly create mesh interfaces any more. It creates non-overlapping wall zones.

Has anyone experienced this same issue? And have you succeeding in creating non-conformal interfaces that communicate between the adjacent domains?

Thanks. My issue actually turned out to be a mistake in assigning too large of a resistance value in porous media adjacent to the interface.
