fluidboy is on a distinguished road
Dear all,

I have a little problem.

At the moment, I'm trying to set up an 3D model of an ring-shaped 3D model. The model is pie-shaped and has an angle of 80°. I would like to simulate a swirler which has a 3 tangeltal injections. In oder to reduce the amount of nodes and computational effort, I would like to simulate the cut-out of just one injection.

I found many artliches which claim that it is possible. However, it seems not possible for me. I'm using ANSYS Research R19.1. Is there a clear manual how to proceed or set upt such a boundary conditions meaning that the neighbouring "pies" (or cut-outs) behave the same?

Unfortunatley, the Ansys-User-Manual didn't help me a lot.

Looking forward to your answers.

Cheers,
fluidboy
