ALBATTROSS is on a distinguished road
Hello all,

I post-process FLUENT solution data in MATLAB so I need to export the data from Export>solution data> ... in ASCII format. There is a situation that discerning convection from a static solution is crucial so I need to know the Nsselt number. The heat flux that I write in a file in the above manner has 10 significant digits. Calculating Nusselt number (Nu) from the above data gives me Nu =1.000000000 which is quite surprising as I worked with other CFD software and did not get Nu as accurate! Thus, I suspect that the calculated heat flux by FLUENT is actually 10 significant digits accurate. My question is: how can I find the actual accuracy of the exported data from FLUENT?

Thank you,
Amir
