Hi,
I'm currently modelling a Re-entry Simulation on Ansys Fluent, and after getting my initial results, I noticed that there were some random velocity vortices on the top right of my CFD Domain. I'm a bit confused as to why this has occurred, as I have kept it as a pressure outlet and not as a wall so I would not be expecting any stagnation pressure. My boundary conditions were kept really simple, so normal air property coniditions and energy was off. the velocity was 5000ms-1 in the x direction and 0 ms-1 in the y direction. I've attached pictures of my initial results. Thanks for your help |
