Hi experts,

I need some help in analyzing these results. I am studying a slatted VAWT as shown. I can't really understand the reason behind this shifting of optimum TSR between the baseline and slatted. Why does slatted have higher values at low TSR in figure and decrease at high TSR. I am assuming that it's because of an increase in solidity if we add slat. Am I right? Or someone has an idea on the effect of slat in Cp vs. TSR curve. Please help.
