Hi all,
I'm simulating melting and solidification case to obtain cooling curve (temp. vs time) for a metal cast. Below image is a simplified representation of my fluid/solid volumes.
Domains: Fluid - Cast (Aluminum),Solid - Mold (Sand)
Walls: Mold to air: Convection (HTC 40 W/m2K)
Mesh interface: Cast to Mold (Coupled)
Simulation type: transient
Gravity: on
Issue: To match with the experimental data I have tried to changing the Convection HTC(mold to air) but the temperature curves remains the same and I cannot figure out why. Any help would be highly appreciated.
TIA
Cheers,
Rashi
