Hello,

I would like to save pressure drag force and viscous drag force at each iteration or time step in a same file. I know how to save them in different files.

-> Results -> Compute forces -> Create a macro to save files at each iteration or time step.

However, I would like to save them in a same file like that :

Iteration Viscous Force Pressure Force Total Force
0 0.25 0.25 0.5
1 0.3 0.3 0.6
2 0.4 0.4 0.8
... ... ... ...

Can you help me ?

Have a nice day.

When Fluent asks to Overwrite? choose no and it will append instead. Or is your setup special and you do not get this prompt?

Hi,

/report/forces/wall-forces no 2 () 1 0 yes "Report-drag-forces" yes

no : because I don't want a report for all zones
2 : the id of the zone that I want
1 : x-Component
0 : y-Component
yes : to write a file
"Report-drag-forces" : name of the file
yes : append new values in the same file

I write this in :
Solution > Calculation activities > Execute commands
