Hi Everyone,
I have two fluent cases that have the same setup (I think they have). I am getting completely different results using these cases. The cases comprise a two-way FSI simulation of aortic valve. I didn't have such problems working with CFX. Is there any way to compare the two cases to understand what their difference is? It would be great if we could open these case files in a text editor and then compare the two files together. I would appreciate any help that you can provide. Try running both off of the same case.
Meaning, take the first case (.cas.h5) file, and replace the mesh with the other one. If everything is completely the same, it should work. You will get different results from the initialization, but the convergence (i.e physics) should be the same. |

You're hitting one of the disadvantages of Fluent over CFX.

Dear Nawaf,
This is a good idea. Thank you. The reason that I didn't go for this option is that when I want to do this, Fluent gives a warning message regarding the automatic mesh update feature. So, I thought by replacing the mesh some other settings would be modified as well. Dear Gert-Jan, Yep! It would be great if Fluent could add this feature. Hi,
Try using fluent-TUI: file/write-settings. It allows writing your case settings and opening your setting in text editor. Hope it helps. |

Dear Liu,
Great. Thanks! I haven't worked with Fluent TUI so far. Does it refer to the "Console" tab at the bottom panel of the "Graphics"? |
