Mesh adaption - gradient treshold

Hi,
I am trying to get drag coefficient of an object (let's say car for example at velocities 30 - 40 m/s, steady state). I want to start with relatively coarse mesh and use mesh adaption. I am using unscaled gradient of velocity magnitude (this might or might not be the best option, I am not sure). My question is - how do I know which value should I use as the gradient treshold? Let's say I am not interested in adapting cells in inflation layers, as they are already fine enough. Thanks |
