Hello CFD experts,

I have different data files at different time instances. I want to see iso-surfaces at different time instances. But, I want the same exact location each time. For this, I know that the image extents and positioning (camera) can be somehow set to show the same picture for each of the data file.
Does anyone know how can we set the same position each time?

Regards,

SJ

In Fluent you can us either the "views" or "Camera" tool to set the exact image of the camera, or select a preset view position. The Camera tools in fluent are anything but robust. My prefered way is to open all the cases in a CFD Post instance and us the "Lock Camera" tool. I included pictures showing where to find both these options. Hope this helps!

AlexanderZ will become famous soon enoughAlexanderZ will become famous soon enough
you can save "view" using TUI commands and read it again from other cases

You can try to use a journal file, or scheme codes.
